How to measure the battery life?
Forget about the description, and look at the number at the beginning, that number tells you how much "current" can the battery supply. Let us take an example:
This is for example, a 3,500 mAh (3.5Ah) battery. Now suppose that we have the following simple circuit, which will approximately pull 10mA from the supply (If you are not sure why, check this tutorial).
So, how long will the battery last?
Well, its very simple:
Time = 3,500 mAh/10mA = 350 hour
